Equities and Waffles are bid

27/03/2003

I have once again reached a point where my creative juices have stopped flowing. I am satired out. I am even unable to think of saying something rude about the French; I must have this new strain of chinese flu or atleast the yuppie version.

The markets are subdued as it seems most traders have had their butt kicked this year and they are now caught rabbit-like in the headlights. I still favour equities higher in the medium term and the fact that shares have not fallen further in recent days re-inforces this view though a close below 850 in the S&P would have me questioning my view and looking to turn the other way.

The Shrub and Supertone will shortly be meeting for their "prayer breakfast". No doubt our Prime Minister will be praying for a swift end to the crisis and for peace to break out amongst his backbenchers. I feels the Shrubs prayer for waffles will be more quickly answered.
